Peaceful Cider Cake – by Scott Cunningham
- 3 cups Sifted Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Softened Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 2 Beaten Eggs
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider
Preheat ove to 350 degrees F.
Visualize yourself as a peaceful person. Think about what you would feel like, and how these feelings will impact those around you. Do they treat you differently? Do you feel a warmth deep inside? Keep visualizing while you measure out the cinnamon, nutmeg, soda, and flour. Sift all four ingredients together and set aside.
Beat the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Add the eggs in an mix well. Slowly mix in the flour mixture and apple cider. As your imagining yourself – feeling yourself being flooded with peace and balance, recognize that you started this recipe working with the flour mixture and now your ending the recipe with the flour mixture.
Place the batter into a well-buttered loaf pan and back and 350 degrees F for one hour, or until a toothpick test comes out clean and dry.
